Sandberg Phoenix and Community Association Lawyers have joined forces, giving the firm’s clients an increased range of services centered on handling matters for condominium and homeowners associations. Community Associations Lawyers attorneys Todd Billy and Jason Schmidt focus their practice on representing these associations and cooperatives throughout Missouri and Illinois, and are active members of the Community Associations Institute (CAI) and attend CAI’s Annual Law Seminars. The firm has been recognized as the Business Partner of the Year by the Heartland Chapter of the CAI and has also earned Business Partner Essentials recognition from CAI.
The Community Association Lawyers currently provides representation to approximately 1,000 condominium and homeowners associations and cooperatives in Missouri. There are currently approximately 5,300 such associations in the state. One million of Missouri’s 6 million residents live in residences which are part of these associations.
Both Todd and Jason cited client service as a key factor in the decision to join Sandberg Phoenix. “Sandberg Phoenix shares our core value in providing superior legal services to our client with an emphasis on customer service,” Billy said. “We recognize that joining Sandberg Phoenix will provide our clients with even more specialization in areas that impact so many residents in Missouri. That ‘horsepower’ will foster our focus on community association law to raise the bar for all communities across Missouri and Illinois. Simply, a perfect match for our clients.”
Sandberg Phoenix CEO and Managing Partner Bhavik Patel noted that the firm considers the move to be essential to providing a full range of service offerings to the firm’s clients. “Todd and Jason have without question set the standard for work in community associations,” he said. “Their experience and their client service are second to none, and we are pleased that we can now offer their services to our clients.”
