Shareholder Kevin Krueger joined Sandberg Phoenix in 1988 and has successfully defended product manufacturers in hundreds of catastrophic injury cases. Over the past 30 years, he has represented companies in the pharmaceutical/medical device, automotive/recreational vehicle, childcare product, tool, construction and heavy equipment industries facing products liability cases. His experience includes product and toxic tort liability, fire/arson defense and trucking matters, including rear underride bar cases, construction accidents and many, many other issues. Kevin has served as national coordinating counsel on selected litigation for a wide variety of clients. He has successfully defended cases in numerous jurisdictions to include Missouri, Illinois, Kansas, Alabama, Florida, Michigan, California, West Virginia and New York. Kevin’s appellate practice also includes successful arguments before the Missouri Supreme Court, the United States Court of Appeals (8th Circuit), the Missouri Court of Appeals (Eastern District) and the Illinois Court of Appeals (5th District).
Kevin’s success on behalf of many clients can be attributed to many factors, including his dedication to responsive communication, pursuit of excellence and his depth of experience in handling complex litigation matters. He believes, however, it is his ability to look past individual cases and ask the strategic business questions that formulate litigation strategy that has helped him to achieve remarkable results for numerous clients.
Outside his legal practice, Kevin spends time with his wife and five children, attending his sons’ college football games and daughter’s dance competitions throughout the region. He also enjoys playing racquetball and traveling, both to meet clients and to experience new places.
