Jason joined Sandberg Phoenix in 2023 and is a member of the Business practice group. He focuses his practice on general corporate and transactional business matters by guiding clients through formation to day-to-day operation, including negotiations, purchases, sales and leasing.
Prior to attending law school, Jason studied Convergence Journalism at the University of Missouri - Columbia School of Journalism where he also played tenor saxophone as a member of Marching Mizzou. After graduating, he worked for the Kansas City Star where he covered the Kansas City Chiefs, the Kansas City Royals, and collegiate football, as well as NCAA March Madness. While in law school, Jason was a member of the UMKC Law review where he served as a Managing Editor. Jason’s background in Journalism is advantageous to his clients’ corporate and transactional business matters.
Outside of the office, Jason enjoys playing basketball, golfing, and spending time with his family and friends. Jason is also a dedicated St. Louis Blues fan.
