Adam joined Sandberg Phoenix in 2022 as a member of the Health Law Practice Group, defending hosptails, long-term care facilities, and medical providers in medical negigence claims throughout Missouri and Illinois.
In addition to defending medical negligence claims, Adam has a particual concentration in behavioral health and health care probate matters, where he regualry manages involunatry detentions, court-mandated treatments for psychartiac patients, and guardianships for major health care systems, long-term care facilities, and correctional medicine providers. He has conducted numerous contested hearings before Probate Courts in St. Louis City, St. Louis County, Jefferson County, Crawford County, and many others throughout Missouri. His in-depth knowledge of regulatory compliance, patients’ rights, and behavioral health allows him to effectively advise and consult clients when facing matters involving consent, discharge planning, release planning, HIPPA complicance, and general health care operations.
Outside of the office, Adam can be found enjoying the great outdoors, attending St. Louis sporting events, golfing and spending time with his family.
