Margaret (Maisie) joined Sandberg Phoenix in 2023 after working as a summer associate with the firm in 2022. Maisie’s focus is on estate planning, with services including probate administration, trust administration, estate planning, special needs planning, business succession planning, and probate and trust litigation. In her practice, Maisie makes it a priority to understand each of her client’s unique stories in order to appropriately customize her approach to their specific needs. In an effort to consistently put her clients first, Maisie ensures each client is fully informed by walking them through each step of the estate planning process.
Her time in law school equipped her to provide comprehensive strategies for her clients. During law school she worked for the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of Illinois, the Missouri Attorney General’s Office, the Washington University Low Income Taxpayer Clinic, and served as a Research Assistant for Professor John Inazu. She was also a Notes Editor for the Washington University Jurisprudence Review, Vol. 14.
Outside of the office, Maisie enjoys playing pickleball, baking, reading, walking with her husband around her neighborhood, Richmond Heights, and cheering on the Wake Forest Demon Deacons. She also enjoys volunteering through her church, New City Fellowship in South City.
