Abbey Fritz

Abbey Fritz is a senior associate with Sandberg Phoenix in the health law practice group. She focuses her practice on defending medical and mental health providers within correctional centers and residential mental health facilities in various federal courts and Illinois and Missouri state courts. In addition to this work, she also provides medical malpractice defense.

Abbey dedicates herself to providing thorough and in depth legal services while counseling her clients who face the unique and immensely challenging work of providing healthcare in a correctional and residential treatment settings. While her adept legal research and writing frequently result in dismissals on the pleadings, Abbey is always prepared for, and has conducted, trial before a federal jury. Abbey's dedication to her clients and cases and never give up attitude continues on in the Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals where she has successfully briefed and argued cases involving a variety of legal issues.
