Biography
Wylie Blair joined Sandberg Phoenix & von Gontard in September of 2007. He is a Senior Associate in the Products Liability Practice Group and focuses his practice on general tort litigation. Prior to joining Sandberg Phoenix, Wylie spent several years with a large civil defense firm in Madison County, Illinois.

Civic Activities
Wylie is a founder and sits on the Board of Directors of the Fred Pearson Foundation, a charitable organization to benefit underprivileged youth in his home town of Centralia, Illinois.

He has also volunteered as a mentor for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Eastern Missouri.

Professional Activities
Wylie is admitted to practice law in Missouri and Illinois and before the United States District Court for the Southern District of Illinois and the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Missouri.

He is a member of the Missouri State Bar Association, Bar Association of Metropolitan St. Louis, and St. Louis Lawyers Association.

Wylie has presented Missouri Continuing Legal Education on the topics of Jury Instructions and Handling the Jury Instruction Conference, Pleading Practices in Missouri and Illinois State and Federal Courts, and The Practicalities of Toxic Tort Litigation.

Education
Wylie received his Juris Doctor from Southern Illinois University School of Law in 2005, where he graduated magna cum laude, ranking fifth in his law school class. He was an editor and published member of the Southern Illinois University Law Journal. He was a member of Phi Kappa Phi and received the SIU Award for Academic Excellence.

He received his Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2002.
