Biography
Timothy P. Dugan joined Sandberg Phoenix & von Gontard in 2001. Tim focuses his practice in the firm’s Health Law Practice Group. He also defends clients in other types of catastrophic loss cases, including vehicular liability and fire loss.
He has experience in the defense of doctors, hospitals and nursing homes in both civil litigation and regulatory matters. He has managed and overseen the defense of several healthcare practitioners and institutions through trial.
Prior to joining Sandberg Phoenix, Tim was an associate at two different St. Louis defense firms.

Civic Activities Tim sits on the Board of Directors of the Lewis & Clark Institute, a non-profit corporation dedicated to the education of children.
Professional Activities Tim is admitted to practice law in the states of Missouri and Illinois, as well as the United States District Courts for the Eastern and Western Districts of Missouri and the Southern District of Illinois.
He is a member of the Missouri Bar Association, the Illinois Bar Association and the Bar Association of Metropolitan St. Louis.
In addition, Tim is the Chair of the Sandberg Phoenix Wellness Committee.
Education Tim earned his Juris Doctor,
cum laude, from Saint Louis University School of Law in 1999.
He earned his B.A. at Northeast Missouri State University in 1996.
