BiographySara B. Obermark joined Sandberg Phoenix & von Gontard in 2005. She focuses her practice in medical malpractice litigation and business litigation. She clerked during the summer and her last year of law school in our Carbondale office.
Prior to attending law school, Sara was a teacher for the Cape Girardeau, Missouri Public Schools.

Professional Activities Sara is licensed to practice law in Missouri and Illinois. She is a member of the Missouri Bar Association.
Sara also serves as a member of the Sandberg Phoenix Recruiting and Wellness Committees.
Education Sara earned her Juris Doctor from Southern Illinois University School of Law in 2005.
She received her B.S. in Education, with honors, from Southwest Missouri State University in 2001.
