Biography
Lisa joined Sandberg Phoenix & von Gontard in May of 2008 and practices in the firm’s Business Law Practice Group. The focus of her practice is in energy and public utility regulation and immigration. Lisa’s energy and public utility practice involves the representation of major industrial and healthcare clients in utility rate matters before regulatory commissions in Missouri, Kansas and Washington, DC and in related legislative matters. She has argued appeals before state appellate courts on behalf of these clients. Her immigration practice involves finding solutions for employers focusing on employment-based visas of all types and on permanent residency. In addition to her practice, Lisa also serves on the firm's charity and diversity committees.

Civic Activities
Lisa is a Board Member for Community Women Against Hardship and the Barkley House. She is also a graduate of CORO, Women in Leadership Class #41. Lisa is a member of Metropolis St. Louis. Lisa is also a volunteer and contributor to Safe Connections, the National Brittany Rescue & Adoption Network and the American Brittany Rescue. In addition, she is a regular volunteer at Washington University School of Law where she participates as a judge for the Client Counseling Competition and the Negotiation Competition and acts as a mentor for the Women’s Law Caucus.

Professional Activities
Lisa is licensed to practice in the state of Missouri and in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Illinois.

Lisa is a member of the American Bar Association (ABA) where she is also a member of ABA’s Administrative Law Section and ABA’s Public Utility Law Section.

She serves as a member of the Bar Association of Metropolitan St. Louis (BAMSL) and is a section member of BAMSL’s Animal Law Division, BAMSL’s Young Lawyers Division and a Volunteer for BAMSL’s Read Across America and First Vote programs. She also serves as a judge for BAMSL’s Moot Court Competition.

In addition, Lisa is also a member of the Federal Energy Bar Association, the American Immigration Lawyer's Association, the Missouri Bar Association and the Women Lawyers Association of Metropolitan St. Louis. She is on the Planning Committee for the Midwest Energy Bar Association, and previously served on the Board.

Lisa is a Missouri registered Lobbyist.

Education
Lisa received her Juris Doctor from Washington University School of Law.

She received her Bachelor of Science in Management from Maryville University where she graduated magna cum laude.
