Biography
Jennifer Miller-Louw joined Sandberg Phoenix & von Gontard in 2005. She focuses her practice in the firm's Health Law-Medical Malpractice Practice Group and Business Litigation Group. Jennifer was a summer associate at Sandberg Phoenix in 2004. Jennifer has successfully represented physicians, hospitals, nursing homes, and business owners in all aspects of litigation including investigation, discovery, motion practice, mediation and second chairing medical malpractice trials. She recently obtained a directed verdict at the close of plaintiff's case in her first solo jury trial where plaintiff alleged premises liability. Jennifer has successfully briefed and argued before appellate courts in both Missouri and Illinois.

Education
Jennifer received her Juris Doctor, cum laude, in 2005 from Southern Illinois University School of Law. While in law school, she served on the Board of Editors (2004-2005) as an Assistant Commentary Editor for the Journal of Legal Medicine. Jennifer also received the Award for Academic Excellence and Phi Kappa Phi Award.  

She received her B.A. in Biology, cum laude, from Saint Louis University.
