Kathleen L. Pine, a shareholder since 1989, opened Sandberg Phoenix's first branch office in Carbondale, Illinois. The Sandberg Phoenix Southern Illinois office began serving central and southern Illinois by offering legal defense to hospitals and physicians in the area of medical malpractice.
In August of 2010, Courtney Cox, the former United States Attorney for the Southern District of Illinois, joined the Carbondale office. With Courtney's addition, the office now offers services in the areas of business litigation, business transactions & counseling, and labor & employment law.
Directions from St. Louis to Carbondale Office
Take 64 East (from either Poplar Street Bridge or Martin Luther King Bridge). Take IL-127 (exit 50) toward Carlyle/Nashville. Turn right onto IL-127 South / IL-13 East. Turn left onto IL-13 East / East Walnut Street. Continue to follow IL-13 East. As you come into Carbondale, turn right at the stoplight at Emerald Lane (just past the McDonald's). Take the first right (just past the Shell gas station) into Westowne Center. The Sandberg Phoenix office is in the building to your left (2015 West Main Street).; look for the marquee. Park in the lot in front of the building.
