Illinois Chamber of Commerce’s Newest Publication Helps Illinois Businesses Address ADA, FMLA, Military and Other Statutory Leave Rights

In collaboration with the employment team at the law firm Sandberg Phoenix, the Illinois Chamber of Commerce has just released its newest addition to their HR Compliance library. FMLA, ADA, Military and Other Leave Issues is designed to provide Illinois businesses with a thorough, yet practical guide to the most common leave situations which supervisors and managers may encounter.

“With the ever-changing regulatory and statutory landscape of leave issues, the authors spent exhaustive effort and time to be sure the book was as up-to-date as possible,” said Gloria Guy, Vice President-Business Services for the Illinois Chamber of Commerce. “Illinois employers look to the Illinois Chamber HR Compliance Library as their source for comprehensive yet practical guide to Human Resources.”

“This publication truly represents a team effort by the Sandberg Phoenix ermployment team,” said the Author, a former Shareholder at Sandberg Phoenix. “Without the help of Co-Author Phil Lading and Contributing Author Jennifer Miller-Louw, this publication would not have been a success.”

This in-depth guide covers topics such as Understanding Title I and the Terminology of the ADA; Qualified Reasons for Taking FMLA Leave; Military Leave and the Uniformed Services Employment and Re-employment Rights Act; and many other coverage issues concerning the Illinois Employer.
