Big Moves!

The continued efforts at Sandberg Phoenix to expand services and increase the firm’s strength continue with David Weiss and Loren Ettinger joining the firm as counsels November 15th.

David, who founded Weiss Attorneys at Law in 1987, counsels business owners, associations and individuals in a variety of legal matters central to business and nonprofit organizations, including corporate law, real estate, homeowner and condominium associations, tax and employment law matters. David also represents clients in business litigation involving business disputes, shareholder and corporate governance matters, and homeowner and condominium disputes. David said his decision to join Sandberg Phoenix was based solely on his commitment to offering the best possible legal services to his clients. “My focus since the first day of my career as an attorney has been on my clients, and providing them exemplary levels of client service,” David said. “In recent years, many of my clients have grown substantially and with that growth, their need for an increasingly broad range of legal services has also grown. It was obvious to me that the best decision I could make for my clients was to join forces with a firm that offers a full spectrum of legal services. I chose Sandberg Phoenix because of the firm’s reputation for stellar client service. The choice was obvious.”

Loren is both an attorney and a C.P.A., offering firm clients a depth of experience and expertise in commercial real estate, banking and accounting matters, and the insights of an experienced lawyer and accountant. He graduated magna cum laude from Indiana University with a B.S. in Business as an Accounting major and from Washington University with his law degree. He worked in public accounting as a tax consultant for several years with Arthur Anderson and Ernst & Young. After public accounting, he worked for several years in the commercial real estate industry as an owner, developer and broker with Walpert Properties and Koman Properties specializing in ownership, development, leasing, management, financing, acquisition, construction and disposition of shopping centers and other commercial properties and also including representation of national and local tenants. He returned to law practice law with a local St. Louis firm where he led his previous firm’s real estate, banking and business transactional practices.
