Larry joined Sandberg Phoenix in September of 2011 as an associate and focuses his practice on matters of transportation, product liability and personal injury. Larry is a member of the firm’s transportation team and product liability practice group. He has extensive experience representing local, regional and national clients in the trucking and rail industries throughout the litigation process. He works with transportation clients in all aspects of their business including immediate response investigations after catastrophic accidents, safety policies/training, regulatory compliance and general risk management. Larry is an active member of the Missouri Trucking Association, Illinois Trucking Association and the American Trucking Associations. He was recently selected to be a member of the Missouri Trucking Association Next Generation Council and the Illinois Trucking Leadership Program. Throughout high school and college, Larry spent his summers and holiday breaks delivering commercial linen in large commercial trucks. Larry’s experiences operating these vehicles assists him in protecting the interests of trucking and transportation companies in many facets, but particularly in catastrophic injury and complex litigation cases.
Larry’s practice also includes defending products liability cases involving a variety of products including heavy machinery, electrical components and consumer goods. He is a member of the firm’s fire/arson defense team and he has significant experience with a wide range fire science and premises liability matters. Larry has engaged in all aspects of litigation from the initial claim investigation stage through jury trials.
Larry resides in Ballwin, Missouri with his daughter Alice and his two dogs Buddy and Minka. Away from the office Larry enjoys spending time with his family and playing golf. He is a passionate fan and supporter of the University of Missouri and Truman State University.
Larry received his Eagle Scout in 2002. He is also a member of the Sons of the American Legion and serves as an ambassador at Cardinal Glennon Children’s Hospital.
Larry is admitted to practice law in Missouri and Illinois. He is also licensed in the United States District Courts for Western Missouri, Eastern Missouri and Southern Illinois.
Larry received his Juris Doctor, magna cum laude, from the University of Missouri-Columbia School of Law in 2011 where he was awarded the Order of the Coif and Order of the Barristers. During his third year of law school he served as Chair of the Board of Advocates and Associate Editor of the Missouri Law Review. His article Corporations Beware: The Eighth Circuit Announces New Criteria for Parent Corporation Liability and Constructive Notice of Harassment, 75 Mo. L. Rev. 571, was published in the spring 2010 edition of the Missouri Law Review.
He earned his Bachelor of Science in Justice Systems, magna cum laude, from Truman State University in 2008.

Larry joined Sandberg Phoenix in September of 2011 as an associate. He focuses his practice in the areas of product liability and business litigation.
Larry has experience in various litigation matters in both state and federal courts. His work includes the representation of trucking and transportation companies in many facets, but focusing on serious injury and complex litigation. He also represents a wide variety of product manufacturers and businesses in personal injury cases. Additionally, Larry has extensive experience in the area of insurance law, primarily handling coverage and bad faith matters. He has worked with a number of insurance companies, providing comprehensive analysis of policy coverage, as well as recommendations on how the client can best limit their potential exposure.
Larry resides in Ballwin, Missouri, with his wife Stephanie, a graduate of Visitation Academy (2004). Away from the office, Larry enjoys playing golf and spending time with his wife and two dogs, Minka and Buddy. He is also a passionate fan and supporter of the University of Missouri and Truman State University.
