Brandy Simpson’s practice focuses on health law, specifically on medical malpractice defense. Brandy has extensive experience in managing cases, developing defense strategies, working with alternative dispute resolutions and locating and communicating with expert witnesses. She has experience conducting extensive medical research and working closely with physicians, hospital administrators and insurance adjusters in virtually all phases of litigation.
Brandy is recognized for her attention to detail and ability to research extremely technical subjects and integrate them into trial preparation. “Communicating effectively with clients is the key to successful trial preparation,” Brandy says. “So it’s extremely important that I fully understand the details of a client’s case. My view is that having that understanding is absolutely essential and I commit to that.”
Brandy has nearly a decade of experience in litigation, as well as significant experience in legal research before earning her law degree.
Brandy earned her J.D. from the University of Dayton School of Law and a B.A. in English and Psychology from Indiana University.
She is licensed to practice in the states of Illinois, Kentucky, Missouri and West Virginia.
Since 2015, Brandy has served on the Young Professionals Board of HavenHouse St. Louis.
